How to get to the Campus
The Campus in Arcavacata can be reached in different ways based on the means of transport chosen:
By car: Take the motorway Autostrada A2 Salerno-Reggio Calabria --> Exit Rende - Cosenza Nord, and follow the road signs to Università - Paola.
By train: The railway station in Castiglione Cosentino, that is connected to the railway terminals of Paola (railway along the Tyrrhenian sea) and Sibari (railway along the Ionian sea), is just 3 kilometers away from the Campus. Outside the station there is a bus stop of Consorzio Autolinee buses that connect the town of Cosenza with the Campus: once you leave the railway station, walk along Via Edison for about 100 meters, then cross Via L. Da Vinci and there you will find a bus shelter where the buses heading to the University stop.
By plane: The airport of Lamezia Terme is the closes airport and it is connected to the towns of Rende and Cosenza by means of coaches. For further information on how to get to Cosenza-Autostazione (the coach station) visit the website www.sacal.it.
By coach: The Campus in Arcavacata is connected to the main towns and villages of Calabria by means of a coach transport system. The company that runs the bus service for Cosenza and Rende is Consorzio Autolinee whose terminal is in Cosenza in Piazza Autostazione. Coaches also stop in several parts of the towns of Cosenza and Rende (there is also one in Quattromiglia) and another terminal is at the Campus.
