research fields
The research activity is focused on the development and application of multivariate analysis techniques on pharmaceutical and food complex matrices. Multivariate modelling (PCA, PLS, SIMCA, Cluster Analysis) is performed to analyse big data matrices from experimental measurements to predict features and classify unknown drug and food samples.
Another aim of the research work is the study of photolabile drugs and the design of photostabilization systems; Elaboration of spectroscopic and chromatographic data by Multivariate Curve Resolution techniques, Quantitative Structure Property Relationships (QSPR) and Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) approaches.
