Assessment of students’ initial background for the first level degree courses
Students who enrol in a first level degree course of the Faculty of Political Science have to show they have a suitable initial preparation. Therefore, students must do an assessment test to check their basic knowledge of Italian language and modern and/or contemporary history. The test, which is taken after registration for the courses in Political Science and in Administration, is obligatory and its purpose is to verify the level of preparation of the students. If the test shows that the students are not prepared then they must do specific remedial activities. The students that intend to enrol in one of the two centres of the degree courses in Social Services do this assessment when they do the admission exam and the results of the test are integrated in their final admission score.
