EDUCATIONAL OFFER
Foundation Courses
Prior to commencement of the relative Academic Year, Freshmen enrolling in all of the 3-year First Degree Courses of the Science Faculty will have the possibility of attending Foundation Courses offered in September which prepare incoming students for some of the more difficult subjects in the first year of study.

First Level Inter-Faculty Degrees

· Science of Primary Education (Faculties of Science, Letters & Philosophy)
All Degree Courses offered at the Science Faculty at UNICAL grant “educational credits” with each credit representing 25 hours of work for the student. This ratio of 25h workload/credit represents the total cumulative workload of lesson time, practicum, laboratories and time for autonomous study which students with sufficient foundation knowledge will need to acquire and attain the prescribed learning objectives. The credits assigned to each course in the 3-year First Level Degree respects this workload ratio such that the quantity of learning for a full-time student per academic year amounts to 60 credits, for a total of 1500h of study per year. The First Level Degree is awarded following the successful completion of 180 credits.
Upon completion of the First Level Degree, students may pursue an additional two years of study to obtain a Second Level Specialist Degree.
