THE DIDACTIC COMPUTER LABORATORY
The Didactic Computer Laboratory (LDI) is a service structure to support didactic activity requiring the use of hardware and software resources within the framework of the activities carried out in the Study Courses organised by the Faculty of Economics,.
The service allows students to use the computer resources allocated in the computer science classrooms 1, 2 and 3 of the Faculty that are under the management of the LDI:

The Statistics computer Laboratory is open for:
a) teachers and researchers working in the Faculty of Economics;
b) students enrolled in degree courses of Statistics and Actuarial Sciences, Statistics and Economics, Business Statistics and Computer Science, on the Diploma Course in Statistics, in the new three-year degree course in Quantitative Methods for the Economy and for Business Management (what used to be called Statistics), new Specialist Degree in Statistics and Computational Method for Economics and Finance and undergraduates of the Faculty of Economics that are working on quantitative thesis.

The Economic History Laboratory supports didactic and research activities within the historical-economic disciplines connected to the Faculty. Support is provided for students with particular learning difficulties; the laboratory also deals with the organisation of thematic or methodological seminars, which upon request give 2 credits within the framework of optional activities.
ICIT (Italian-German Cultural Institute)
The Italian-German Cultural institute (ICIT) was founded on December 12th 2000 and is the only institute in Calabria authorised by the German embassy in Rome and the Goethe Institut Inter Nationes. Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Adviser are respectively Gerda Homeyer, Pierpaolo Marano and Sandra Genoese.
The institute, in the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Calabria, was established to organise courses of German language and culture at various levels for adults, graduates and non graduates and, above all, for those people who want to participate in national and international competitive exams.

Also it is possible to talk to an operator from Monday to Friday from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
CallWeb can give information about: didactic activity of the various degree courses, degree ceremonies, training courses, scholarships, examination dates, masters’ degree courses, news from the Faculty, information for external students.
CallWeb users (students or non-student) can communicate their problem and receive an answer within 24 hours directly to an e-mail address, by leaving a voice message and their e-mail address.

The training course office of the Faculty of Economics promotes and manages the organisation of formative and orientation activities for the students and graduates of the Faculty in local, national and foreign institutions and enterprises. For the implementation of this activity the office uses a consolidated network of associations, public and private businesses, public corporations, foundations, as well as national and international institutions. The purpose is to organise study and work exchanges for the students of the various study courses of the Faculty of Economics to better facilitate professional choices of the students/graduates through better knowledge of the employment market. Training experiences are a great opportunity for students having concluded or about to conclude their studies, as they offer direct contact with the job market and enable them to acquire experience of a specific professional activity. Besides, with the reform of the didactic arrangement of the Italian Universities, and the system of formative credits, training and orientation have become part of the student programme: it is possible, in fact, to accumulate credits through a training period.
